Perinatal counselling, supervision and training.
Specialist support for pregnancy loss, birth trauma, infertility and the journey into parenthood. Online across the UK, in person in Norwich.
Becoming a parent, or trying to, is rarely the experience people are told to expect. Loss, trauma and uncertainty are common — and yet most people are left to navigate them quietly.
Chance Therapy exists to meet you in those harder places, and to support the professionals and organisations who work alongside you.
I'm Jessica Chance Vaccaro, a BACP-registered counsellor, clinical supervisor and trainer specialising in perinatal mental health. I work with individuals seeking therapy, with qualified counsellors looking for supervision, and with NHS trusts and charities looking for training in this field.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Three ways I work.
-
01
Counselling
For individuals navigating pregnancy loss, infertility, birth trauma, termination for medical reasons, perinatal anxiety, or the wider transition into parenthood. One-to-one therapy, online across the UK or in person in Norwich.
-
02
Clinical Supervision
For qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, particularly those working with perinatal clients or wanting to develop a perinatal specialism. Individual and group supervision available, online or in person.
-
03
Training for organisations
Specialist training for NHS trusts, charities, midwifery and health visiting teams, and counselling services. Delivered in person across the UK or online, with bespoke programmes available.
ACCREDITED. EXPERIENCED. SPECIALIST.
Properly trained for the hardest moments.
Trained at the Tavistock and Portman, the Seleni Institute, and with Babette Rothschild. Over [X] years in clinical practice. Published in BACP's Therapy Today journal.
MEET JESSICA
A specialist in the hardest moments of becoming a parent.
I came to perinatal work through both clinical training and personal experience.
My practice is shaped by a belief that pregnancy loss, fertility struggles and birth trauma are too often minimised, both socially and clinically. People deserve to be met with rigour, warmth and proper specialist understanding.
Whether you're seeking therapy for yourself, supervision for your own practice, or training for your team, my work is grounded in the same principles: honest, specialist, and never one-size-fits-all.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Good to know.
A few of the things people most often ask before getting in touch. Can't see your question? A 20-minute call is the best way to find out if we're a good fit.
-
Yes. I work with clients across the UK online and offer in-person sessions in Norwich. Most of my counselling practice is now online, and I'm experienced in supporting clients remotely.
-
Individual counselling is £70 per 50-minute session. A small number of reduced-fee places are available if cost is a barrier, so please ask.
-
The most reliable way to find out is to have a short conversation. I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so you can ask questions, get a sense of how I work, and decide if it feels like a good fit before committing to anything. -
No. The majority of my clients are based across the UK and work with me online. I also have a small number of in-person sessions available in Norwich each week.
-
Pregnancy loss including miscarriage and stillbirth, termination for medical reasons (TFMR), infertility and fertility treatment, birth trauma, perinatal anxiety and depression, and the broader emotional terrain of becoming a parent.
Take the first step.
Most people reach out when something feels heavier than they can carry alone. You don't need to know exactly what you want from therapy, supervision or training to get in touch. We can work it out together.
